ALBERTA F. (nee McGovern)
February 16, 2017, of Phila. PA, age 96. Dear daughter of the late Francis and Kathryn McGovern; beloved wife of the late Russell W.; mother of Andrea Windsor and Dr. Russell (Theresa). Survived by her grandchildren, Gillian, Russell, and Eric. Alberta was a proud 1939 graduate of the Academy of the Sister of Mercy. She was also vocalist for the Swing Band of Leo Zollo from 1942 to 1944, during World War II.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Viewing Monday, 9:30 to 10:30 A.M., St. Timothy Church, 3001 Levick St,. Phila. PA 19149. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 A.M. Int. Holy Sepulchre Cem. No Viewing Sunday eve. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alberta's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38015, or PSPCA, 350 E. Erie Ave., Phila. PA
