NUNEVILLER

Anna Lenore (Joyce) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died on October 11, 2018. Anna was 85 years old and the beloved and devoted wife of 66 years of Aaron Henry Nuneviller (deceased), loving mother of Helen, Steven (Kathleen), Patricia (William), Gregory (Christina), and predeceased by her daughter Diane (William); devoted grandmother (Nanny) of 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Anna was born in North Philadelphia and attended Dobbins High School where she was a star first baseman on the softball team and earned her varsity letter. She married her loving and devoted husband Hank in 1951. Anna and Hank raised their five children in Mayfair where they resided for over 50 years. Anna worked hard to raise and support her family. She worked for The Shack Restaurant, Parkview Hospital and her last job was as a Hostess at the Red Robin Diner. She loved seeing and conversing with all of her friends from the neighborhood. Anna loved to play bingo and the slot machines and to follow her favorite sports teams, especially the Eagles. Anna adored her family and was dearly loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

Relatives and Friends are invited to her memorial service Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Edward J. Petner Funeral Home, 6421 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19135. The Family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00 am – 11:30 am. Christian Burial Service 11:30 am. Interment will be private.
