BARBARA A. ROUSH

DECEMBER 17, 1942 - OCTOBER 7,2021

PHILDELPHIA, PA Barbara Ann Roush (nee Stem) went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 7, 2021.  Barbara was born to the late Charles and Louise Stem on December 17, 1942.  She was the beautiful bride and best friend of the late Thomas Wells Roush Sr. who passed away in 2012.  She is survived by a son, Thomas W. Roush Jr. and daughter Barbara Hawley, son-in-law Justin, She is lovingly remembered by her wonderful grandchildren, Babette, Justin, Timothy Jr., Thomas III, Darrell Jr., Ailaina, Jacob and Jenna. And by her great-grandchildren, Chelsey-Ann, Thomas IV, Ronan and Vivienne also by many cousins, nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her son, Timothy P. Roush Sr.; daughter-in-law Heather (McCaney) Roush, her sisters Dorothy, Pauline and her brothers Charles, George, William and Joseph.

Barbara lived a full life and was filled with a passion for many things. She was led by her faith first and foremost and was never shy to tell anyone of her dedication to God. Her passions included cooking great meals for family and friends, particularly Christmas Eve dinner and the Phillies, especially when she could go to games with her grandchildren.  She always had a place in her heart for the many dogs and cats she kept over the years. The world will truly be a lonelier place without Barbara here to light the many lives she touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 9 AM - 11 AM on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Edward J. Petner Funeral Home(family owned and operated), 6421 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA  19135. Words of Remembrance at 11:00 am Interment will be in E. Cedar Hill Cemetery.
