MURPHY

Catherine T. Murphy (nee Pino) 90, of Philadelphia, died September 27, 2020.

Mrs. Murphy was born November 14, 1929 in Philadelphia to Guiseppe and Natalie Pino.

She attended Bok Vocational School and worked as a beautician for most of her life.  She lived in the Northeast section of Philadelphia since the early 1970s.

Catherine loved to dance.  She was always the best dressed in the room with beautiful hair, nails and jewelry.   She was an excellent cook and baker.  She was known for her made from scratch  stromboli, chocolate cake, apple, pumpkin and ricotta pies.

She most cherished spending time with her family and sharing stories from her childhood and younger years.

Catherine is the wife of the late James Murphy, mother of the late Martin Colivera, sister of Robert (Angelina), and deceased brothers Joe (Ida), John (Julie), Paul (Rose) and Dominic (Rita).  She is the Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.  And dearest friend to Elmer Rose.
