Obituary

CHANTAL M. GIN

MAY 18, 1950 - DECEMBER 24, 202

Chantal M. Gin, 71, of Huntingdon Valley passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2021.

Born in Marseille, France on May 18, 1950, to the late Pierre and Lucette Fra.

At 18-months, she arrived in America aboard the Queen Elizabeth II, spending her early childhood years in Northeast Philadelphia before moving to Levittown.

Marrying John in 1967, they raised their three children in the Penndel/Langhorne area. Their property in the woods along the Neshaminy Creek always held a special place in her heart. It was there—and almost anywhere—that you could find her reading a novel with her trusty make-up bag by her side, loving nature, cooking one of her famous recipes from scratch or listening to her favorite "crappy" hippie music (according to her kids).

Her nickname, "Cliff Clavin", was lovingly given to her by her eldest son. Her thirst for knowledge did not end with the thousands of novels she read and reread. She was a wealth of

information and able to hold her own in any conversation. She was sarcastic, outspoken, and

fought for what she believed in, using her sense of humor to survive the many adversities she

faced.

She is lovingly remembered by her son Joshua (Jennifer) of Warminster, son David (Kristine) of

Trevose, and daughter Rachel of Trevose; sisters Nadine of St. Cloud, MN, Monique of Bristol

Borough, and Colette of Levittown; grandchildren Mikey, Emily, James, and Riley; many nieces

and nephews; and her 100-year-old aunt, Josette Hoffmaster.

Proceeded in death by her sister Rochelle Gartner and stepfather Ed Birbeck.

The family would like to thank their friends and family for their outpouring love and support as

they navigate this difficult time.

All are welcome to a Celebration of Life that will be held in May.

A song that will forever live in our hearts….

Tapent, tapent petites mains

Tourne, tourne petit moulin

Vole, vole petit oiseau

Nage, nage poisson dans l'eau.
