Rueter Charles W. Sr. "Charlie", passed peacefully June 30, 2025. Devoted Father and best friend of Charles W. Rueter Jr. "Little Charlie". Brother of Berenice A. Sheppard, Joseph E., John P. and Edward P. and his late siblings Ronald R., Kathleen M. Smith and Robert E. Charlie was predeceased by his parents Charles E. and Berenice A.(nee Delaney).

Charlie was a proud graduate of St, Joseph's Preparatory School ,"THE PREP" Class of '64 and a Class of '68 alumnus of St. Joseph's University "The Hawk Will Never Die". Charlie went into the family business Charles Rueter Real Estate started by his father where Charlie worked for 50 plus years. Charlie was an avid hunter who enjoyed the outdoors. He was also a longtime member of Torresdale-Frankford Country Club where he was the 1979 Golf Club Champion and runner-up in 1988.

Services and burial are being held privately by his family.
