SEPTEMBER 8, 1939 - JANUARY 19, 2025

Diane Mary Thomsen, born on September 8, 1939, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2025, at the age of 85. Known for her remarkable kindness, deep empathy, and an extraordinary ability to bring joy to those around her, Diane's presence lit up every room she entered.

Diane's life was filled with simple joys that she cherished deeply. She had a love for going to the movies and indulging in her favorite TV shows, particularly "LMN." Whether it was dining out at her favorite restaurants, "resting her eyes" in moments of relaxation, scrolling through TikTok, or posting updates on Facebook, Diane found delight in connecting with the world and sharing her vibrant spirit. Her knack for staying in touch was unmatched, often reaching out through texts to everyone she had ever met, leaving an indelible mark on countless lives.

Diane is survived by her four devoted daughters: Katherine, Elizabeth, Diane (Jason), and Christine (John). She was a proud grandmother, lovingly referred to as "GM" by her eight cherished grandchildren: Kyle, Jessica, Jacob, Marta, Michaela, Tyler, Abigail, and Bobby. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she showered them with unwavering love and support.

Diane was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ernest Thomsen, who passed away in December 2020, and her son-in-law, who passed away in September 2021. The bonds of her family and the memories they shared will forever honor her legacy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Diane's Memorial Gathering Saturday February 1, 2025 10:00AM to 11:00Am at St. Anselm's Church 12670 Dunksferry Rd. Philadelphia, PA 19154followed by her Memorial Mass 11:00AM. Interment is being held privately by family.
