Dorothy Mary Grace Brady Sweeney Wisniewski born 4/13/1928 of William Brady and Anna Barder the eldest of her three siblings, Bill, Elaine, and Joan all deceased. Wife of the late Thomas Sweeney, Sr. (dec.8/19/1999) with three children, the late William (the late Marianne), Thomas Jr. (wife Clare) and Dennis, Grandchildren Patrick, Ryan, Melanie, William Jr., Thomas and six Great-Grandchildren.  Dot married the late Frank Wisniewski (Dec.3/18/2012).
She attended Presentation grade school and graduated from St Hubert's High.
Dot worked for Bell Telephone after graduation and moved on to WT Grant, Girard Corn Exchange Bank, and Mellon Bank where she worked her way up to branch manager for 20 years.
Dorothy passed peacefully on January 7, 2026 with family by her side.  She was well known for always wearing a smile, and for her fine sense of fashion.  She had a love for God, family, and the Jersey shore along with her illustrious career in Banking at Mellon bank, all of which led to the happiness and fulfillment of her long life.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dot's viewing Friday January 16, 2026 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM at St. Matthew's Church 3000 Cottman Ave Phila. PA, 19149. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 3301 W. Cheltenham Ave Phila. PA, 19150
