Edward Francis Byrne 70 years old of Philadelphia surrounded by family passed away on October 9, 2016. He fought a courageous and strong battle with colon cancer.
Ed was born in Philadelphia to Joseph and Dorothy (McCabe) on October 1, 1946. He graduated from Father Judge High School in 1964. He proudly served his county for two years after being drafted into the United States Marine Corps. He started working as a grocery store stock boy until his last title was plant manager of Lehigh Valley Dairies. Spending time with family and friends, at the shore, listening to music, going on trips, and watching the Philadelphia Flyers were what he enjoyed most.
He is preceded in death by his father Joseph Byrne and his mother Dorothy (McCabe).
Beloved husband to Linda (DeLeo). Loving father to Nicole (Michael) McVey, Kristi (Jason) Fuller, and Thomas (Kristina) Byrne. Adoring Pop-pop to Michael, Collin, Jake, Ryan, and Patrick.
