Edward R. Petro Jr.
Edward R. Petro Jr., born May 10, 1955, passed away with his daughters & wife by his side on Feb. 25, 2021.
Ed was born and raised in Levittown, Pa. to the late Edward R. and Irene (Maksin) Petro. Ed worked at the US Steel Fairless Works for a period of time and then the Pa. Turnpike, where he retired. He enjoyed hunting, cooking, trips to the beach and helping others.
He is survived by Barbara Gephart of 30 years, his children Edward Petro of Las Vegas, Anthony Petro (Jessica) from Levittown, Amanda Block (Edward) from Levittown, Melissa (Michael) Tschoop, Deanna Gephart. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and one god child (Shantel Stancil). Ed had 6 sisters, 3 brothers, Mary Beth (Dan) Kirner, Judy (Mike) Roberts, Patricia Whelan, Monica (Mike) Santilla, Dennis (Autumn) Petro, Renee (Chuck) Anderson, Shawn Petro and Trina Barnes (foster sister). He was also preceded in death by Janice and Art Bartello, Michael Whalen and Michael Petro.
Relatives and friends are invited to Ed's life celebration on March 13, 2021, at 10 am till noon at THE EDWARD J. PETNER FUNERAL HOME (Family Owned and Operated), 6421 Frankford Ave., Phila., PA 19135. Interment Private.
