Geraldine "GERRY" ROBINSON

OCTOBER 8, 1940 - JULY 19, 2021

Born Geraldine (Schulgen) Kelly on October 8, 1940 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Thomas J. Kelly and Viola Mabel (Schulgen) Kelly.

The oldest of ten, Geraldine grew up in North Philadelphia. She met her husband Wilfred Robinson in 1956 and they married later that same year. Eleven years later (1967), they renewed their vows.

In her lifetime, Geraldine was the mother of three, Lisa (Michael), Tina (Erik), and Wilfred (Laura); the grandmother of nine, Angela (Brian), Michael (Anna), Timothy (Angel), Henry Nicholas, Amanda (Colton), Sophia, Derek, Wilfred, and Owen; and the great-grandmother of five, Alisya, Alexandria, Avalynn, Bryson, and Rowan.

A blunt, to-the-point woman (good luck St. Peter), Geraldine loved cats, James Patterson novels, watching her game shows, Al Pacino movies, going to the racetrack, and to the casinos. A spiritual woman, she was the matriarch of her family, being the focal point of every Christmas Eve celebration for as long as her children can remember. She dedicated her life to the success of her progeny, keeping her house open to them at all times.

Geraldine will be missed by her family and friends, but her memory and traditions will continue.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday July 22nd 9:30am to 11:00am at THE EDWARD J. PETNER FUNERAL HOME(family owned and operated).Christian Burial Service 11:00am. Interment Private.
