(nee Thompson) December 11, 2014 Beloved wife of Hurley "Bud", Loving mother of Robin (Kenneth) Morrison, Harriet (Jeff) Solomon, Colleen (Gerald) Taylor and Steven Mark (Vanessa), Adoring grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brothers William and Robert and sister Barbara Lewis. Pre-deceased by brothers Walter and Kenneth. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Sunday night from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm and Monday morning from 8:30 am - 9:00 am at Edward J Petner Funeral Home: 6421 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19136. A Christian service will follow on Monday morning at 10:00 am at Holmesburg United Methodist Church: 8118 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19136. The burial will take place at Rosedale Memorial Park: 3850 Richlieu Road, Bensalem, PA 19020. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Holmesburg UMC's King's Kitchen which Harriet founded in 1986.
