IRENE M. CABREY

OCTOBER 15,1923 - AUGUST 5, 2022

On August 5, 2022, beloved wife of the late Thomas J., loving mother and best friend of Carol Ann Maruschak, dear mother-in-law of the late Gene Maruschak, predeceased by her sister Rose Murphy, and brothers Matthew and Joseph Braunstein. Survived by many devoted family members and friends. Irene was a 1941 graduate of Hallahan High School for Girls. She was employed as a foreign correspondent at Curtis Publishing Company. She enjoyed reading, music, dancing, shopping and crossword puzzles but especially family gatherings. She was a loving and kind woman who was a friend to all who were fortunate to know her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Viewing Tues., Aug. 16, 2022, 9:15 A.M. - 10:15 A.M. at St. Timothy Church, 3001 Levick St., Phila., PA 19149, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M.
