O'Neill

James Francis O'Neill was born June 7, 1930, in Philadelphia. Jim passed away peacefully at his home on April 30, 2020, at the age of 89. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his devoted wife, Florence (nee Weber) O'Neill; his children: Charlene Steck (Ed), Maureen O'Neill, James J. O'Neill,  Christine Rafferty (Dennis), and Kelly O'Neill; his grandchildren: Amy Bruck (Vale), Michael Young, Megan Rafferty, Julie Young, Brian Rafferty, and Robert Steck (Kelsey); and his great-grandchildren: Wrenna, Reagan, and Aili. He is also survived by his brother, George O'Neill. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Jim was a devout Catholic who spent over 50 years of his life volunteering his time to St. Bernard's Church. Therefore, the family asks that any donations to honor Jim be sent to Saint Bernard's Catholic Church located at 7341 Cottage Street, Philadelphia, Pa 19136.

Due to the Coronavirus restrictions, services and interment will be held privately. A Memorial Mass to celebrate the life of Jim will be held at a later date.
