Joan
Berger
Jun 10, 1960 — Sep 10, 2021
Phila
Joan Marie (Nedley) Berger peacefully passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021, at the age of 61.
Joan is survived by her loving husband Ken Berger, brother Dave Nedley, children Joe and Caitlin Berger, Tim and Trisha Berger, and Jacqueline and Dan Gissinger. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jacob and Danny, along with many friends and family who she loved dearly.
Joan was such a loving, caring, and kind woman. She was the first person you called if you needed advice. She was witty, fun, and had such a bright personality. Joan made anyone who talked to her feel special and loved. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her two grandchildren. Jacob and Danny brightened up her face when they walked into the room. Holiday gatherings were always her favorite moments. She looked forward to a good meal and a good conversation with her children.
Joan loved her spontaneous road trips with her husband, Ken. From Lancaster to Vegas, they always had a blast. Every place they went, she collected bells to commemorate the trips.
Joan adored her friends and their time together. She loved going to the racetrack with them on Derby Day. Joan would always choose a horse with the best name and of course, would always win. She was one lucky lady.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects to Joan on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at St. Anselm Church, 12670 Dunks Ferry Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19154, starting at 10 am. Her funeral service will begin at 11 am. Her interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joan's name may be made to Honey's Angels 514 Guyer Drive, Haddon Heights 08035.
