JOAN E. VENANGO

Joan met Ted in New York, married and together they moved to Philadelphia and raised their family.  She was an excellent cook and avid reader who was seen by all as a thoughtful, loving person, who always had a warm inviting smile. Joan was loved by all and will be truly missed by many. Joan E Venango (nee Loris) passed away peacefully at home with family on October 25, 2020. She was born on February 19, 1940 on Long Island New York to the late Frank G. Loris and Pearl Bateman Loris.  Loving wife of Theodore V.  JR , devoted mother to Leigh Patton (Mark), Theodore V III (Virginia Forys), and Chrissy Carroll (Michael), sister of Barbara Renos, Kevin and Corwith Loris of New York.

Sweet Grammy to Theodore V VI, Mark Patton JR, Robert Venango, Marguerite Venango-Pena, Bryan Patton, Matthew Venango, Andrew Venango, Mackenzie Carroll, Zack Carroll and Steven Venango.

Loving great Grandmother (Grammy) to 14 great grandchildren.

Joan was preceeded in death by granddaughter Julia Venango and sisters Janet Sandford and Lorraine DeCristofaro of New York and in laws Theodore V Sr and Margaret Altomari Venango

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing October 31, 2020 9:00am to 10:15am at St. Timothy's Church 3001 Levick St. Phila. Pa. 19149. A Solemn Christiam Burial Service will begin at 10:30am. Interment Resurrection.
