JOANNE T. NIEBISH
JODI
AUGUST 19,1956 - MARCH 2 2025
With the heaviest of hearts, we announce the passing of Joanne "Jodi" Niebish (Peters) Jodi is survived by her children, Nicholas and Alaina Niebish, and her step-son, Jason Ciotti-Niebish. She had three beautiful grandchildren and two beautiful step- grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Senovia, Cecily, Adrien, Domenica and Filimena. Jodi loved her family. She was the most wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
At a young age, Jodi began her working career at a Penny candy store helping the owner sell candy to children after school. Jodi had many jobs following the candy store, such as, Janney Cylinder Company, Warrington Country Club, Kelly's Seafood, Gallos Seafood and for the past 20+ years, her heart and soul, formerly Marky D's, now known as CJ Muligans, but really known as "The Old Man Bar." CJ Muligans was her home away from home filled with all of her great friends.
Jodi was the life of the party. She was a bright light everywhere she went and she was friends with everyone. To know Jodi was to love her. She had a heart and soul made of gold. Her phone was filled with photos of her children and grandchildren. She said out loud once that she actually loved her grandchildren more :) She loved a 24oz cup of Wawa coffee anytime of day or night. She loved a cold Pepsi. She kept stashes of tootsie rolls in her pocketbook and bedside table at all times.
Jodi was soft spoken and kind. She was everyone's go to if you needed a frown turned upside down. Her ear to listen, shoulder to cry on and arms open to hug were always ready and welcoming. She was a true friend to all. She was my best friend.
Jodi loved the beach and the ocean, North Wildwood to be exact. She could stay on the beach, peacefully, from morning until night. Being in the sand down by the ocean was her heart's happy place. She loved our mother-daughter dates, birthday Flyers games with her son, snuggling and being silly with her grandchildren, fun outings with her great friends from the bar, a full Sunday afternoon at Christmas Tree Shoppes and a glass of moscato with extra apples or an ice cold Labatt Blue.
Mom was called home to be with the Lord suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday morning, March 2, 2025. She was surrounded with all of her loved ones until the end. She was an Angel on Earth and she knew how much she was truly loved by everyone. Her wish for everyone was to be kind to one another, loving, respectful and honest. She saw the best in everyone and just wanted everyone to get along. She was the kindest most loving soul to ever live. Please keep Mom's spirit alive in wonderful memories, in your hearts and in your thoughts. She will be deeply missed and her spirit lives on within all who loved her.
Rest forever peacefully, Momma Bear.
