JOHN F. McCULLOUGH

John F. McCullough at the age of 90 passed away suddenly on Monday, August 17th, 2020 of a broken heart.  He was the devoted husband of his loving late wife, Linda A. McCullough.

Born Wednesday, April 9, 1930 in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late John and Mary(McClosky) McCullough.

John was a supporting and encouraging father to Johnny and Noreen.  He valued his time spent with his family.  He enjoyed his cross word puzzles and word jumbles.  Only from the daily newspaper of course, he was old school with many things in life.  We can learn a lot from these many unconventional values these days, including appreciating listening to a Phillies game on the radio or sending an actual card in the mail to someone.  Don't get me wrong he did love to watch his sports and tv shows, hockey, golf, the Olympic's, Ninja Warriors, The World news, Shark Tank to name a few. And of course football, We agreed on Notre Dame but agreed to disagree on The Patriot's(especially you know who if you knew him).  He was addicted to tending to the garden(flowers and vegetables) mainly because he enjoyed to be outdoors in the heat and sunshine.  He was an avid reader of many topics and extremely fond of music of any genre.  John truly had a kind soul that was contagious and inspiring to others.  He will be extremely missed by anyone who was lucky enough to encounter him in life, even it was for a brief moment, that's how wonderful of a gentleman he was everyone.
