JOHN L. PIECZYNSKI

APRIL 11, 1933 - NOVEMBER 6, 2022

John L. Pieczynski passed away peacefully on November 6. He was preceded in death by his Genevieve, wife for nearly 62 years and his sister, Leona, as well as his parents, John and Helen.

John was born and raised in Philadelphia, 1933. He was a lifelong Philly sports fan, especially the Phillies and Eagles. Baseball was one of his first loves, starting when he saw them play at Shibe Park. He spent 2 years in the USArmy, when he was able to see the world. He married Gen in 1960 and had 3 children shortly after, Theresa, Martin(Lori) and Laura. He was a proud Pop Pop of Brianna (Luke), Taylor (Jordan), Jill (Ron) and Brooke (Andrew). He was a great- grandfather to Zion. John and Gen spent most of their lives in Mayfair as parishioners of St Timothy's Parish. Dad was  proud of his  Polish heritage, and enjoyed some traditional food, drinks and customs. He retired from the Coca-Cola Bottling Company in the 1990's.He always said he was happiest when he was with his family. He will be greatly missed by many people he met throughout his long life!
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Saturday November 12, 2022 9:15am to 10:15am at St. Timothy's Church 3001 Levick St. Phila. PA, 19149. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
