Joseph Conahan passed away peacefully on November 3, 2018.  He was born on February 8, 1932 and is survived by Anne (the late John) Swoyer , Joseph (Jeanne) Conahan, Patricia (Frank) Doyle and Marie (Bill) Murray.  He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and a late grandchild (Jack,) 5 great grandchildren, his sister, Mary Whittle and many nieces and nephews.

Joseph married the love of his life, Agnes , on June 27, 195 3 .  He was the operating superintendent for Sears Roebuck & Company prior to his retirement.  Joe loved the people at Sears and, when the building where he worked was imploded, he was quoted as saying, "It's just a building, it's the people who I worked with who made it what it was!"

Joe enjoyed numerous activities and was an amazing father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  He took great pride in his family and was always there for them when he was needed.  He will be missed by all who knew him! Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday 9-11 A.M. at the EDWARD PETNER FUNERAL HOME 6421 Frankford Avenue Phila, PA. Mass of Christian Burial at Maternity B.V.M. Church.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe's memory to a charity of your choice.
