Joseph G. Gawinski, age 65, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Einstein Memorial Hospital. He was born on August 25, 1952 in Philadelphia, to Joseph and Irene Gawinski. Joe was a 1970 graduate of LaSalle College High school. He was a long time employee of Einstein Hospital. Joe was an avid Philadelphian Flyers fan. He had season tickets for more than 40 years. He loved long sunny days on an Ocean City beach surrounded by friends and family. He is survived by his sister, Barbara (Dave) and his brother Chris (Lise). Also survived by his niece Marissa and nephews Dane, Christopher, and Matthew. Joe will also be remembered by many cousins, friends, and the staff of Einstein Medical Centers. A viewing will be held at Petner Funeral Home, 6421 Frankford Avenue Philadelphia, PA on Thursday evening June 7th at 6 o'clock and Friday June 8th at 9:30.
