HERMANN

Joyce M.  (nee. Plebani), of Philadelphia PA. passed away peacefully on April 25, 2019. Joyce is predeceased by her husband Richard A. Hermann; parents Cyril and Florabelle Plebani (nee. Ryan), her sister Judith L. Budge (nee. Plebani). Joyce is survived by her brother Jack Plebani, her loving niece Debra Budge-Brennan (Michael), her great-nephews and great-nieces Alexander Budge (Brittany), Brian Budge, Caleb Brennan, Amanda Brennan, Keira Lynne Brennan, and great-great niece Kylie Budge. Also, survived by many cousins.

Joyce was born in Philadelphia, PA. on January 30, 1944. Joyce graduated from Gordon Phillips Beauty School 1964. She worked for Armand's for many years. She married Richard A. Hermann on August 13, 1983. They moved to Homosassa, Florida in 1999. She returned to Philadelphia, PA in June 2017 after the death of her husband. Richard passed away on December 17, 2016. He was a long standing member of the Freemasons. He served during the Korean war with the special forces of the United States Army. He will be buried with his beloved wife Joyce with full military honors.

Upon returning to Philadelphia, PA she was diagnosed with cancer to which she fought a brave battle at home, but she passed away peacefully surrounded by family.

Respects may be paid to Joyce at Saint Matthew's Roman Catholic Church, on 3000 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA. on May 7 from 9:15AM to 10:15AM. Mass will be 10:30AM. Interment will be private.
