KATHLEEN LAMB

AUGUST 28, 1945 - DECEMBER 14, 2021

Kathleen Elizabeth Lamb, loving aunt to two, passed away at the age of 76.

Kathie was born on August 28, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA to James and Ida (McCann) Lamb.  She graduated from Drexel University with an MBA and worked for EMD Chemicals in Gibbstown, NJ for more than 20 years.

As a kid, Kathie danced on American Band Stand.  She graduated salutatorian from St. Hubert's Catholic School for Girls.  As an adult, Kathie pursued a career in finance and business, serving on a corporate board of directors and retiring as a chief executive.  She was a parishioner of St. Ephrem Catholic Church and sang in the choir.  Kathie was a lover of dogs.  She enjoyed vacationing in the Poconos and Cape May.  After retirement, Kathie and her dear, late, high school friend, Anna, toured the US in an RV.  Kathie marveled at the geographic and human diversity of this great country.  In her later years, Kathie participated in a clinical trial for Alzheimer's disease, with the hope of sparing future generations from suffering the disease.  On a scratch pad of her musings was the phrase "hope for others."

Kathie was preceded in death by her father, James, mother, Ida, and brother, James.  She is survived by her niece, Katie, nephew, Edward, and their families.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at St. Ephrem Catholic Church on Hulmeville Road in Bensalem, PA at 9:30am.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00am.  Internment North Cedar Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Pennsylvania SPCA, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
