HEYWOOD

Linda, known in our family as mom mom, passed away suddenly in her sleep on March 14 2020.  Mom mom was a Philly girl who loved her local sports teams and devoted her life to her children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed singing in the church choir, going on vacation with her family and coaching sports at the Wissinoming Boys Club.  Mom mom was a great caregiver to Pop and Aunt Marie.  Above all else, mom mom loved spending quality time with each of her grandkids.  They were the joy her life.  Mom mom was well loved and her imprint on our lives will last forever.  Linda is survived by her son Christopher Heywood, his wife Katherine, and "mom mom's three boys" Max, Zac and Ben.  She is also survived by her daughter Toni Heywood, her husband Michael Eckhardt, and her beloved grandaugthers Sydney and Elle.  Mom mom's parents, Fred and Edna Mae Kunze,are awaiting her in her next journey.  In lieu of flowers, Linda's family requests that donations be made to the Brandywine Valley SPCA at www.bvspca.org as Linda loved her pets.
