Marjorie Faye Grzywna, affectionately known as Nana Faye, was born on May 25, 1934, in the charming town of Jessup, Georgia. She peacefully departed from this world on August 31, 2023, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Faye was a devoted mother to her three children: Cynthia (Rest in Peace), Greg, and Ronnie. Her legacy lives on through her five beloved grandchildren: Emily, Gregory, Devon, Jessica, and Lauren, who brought immense joy and pride to her life. She also embraced her two daughters-in-law, Sue and Ada, with whom she shared a deep and cherished bond, considering them a "blessing in her life. "

Faye possessed boundless creativity and an artistic flair. She found joy in various crafts, including sewing, creating scarves, ceramics, crocheting, and showcasing her culinary talents as a remarkable cook. Nana Faye's home during the holidays was always filled with the delightful aromas of her mouthwatering dishes and delectable baking. We will remember her as someone with impeccable taste in coordinating her outfits, characterized by bold colors, manicured hands, and her trademark sassiness.
A memorial service to celebrate Faye's life will be held on Saturday, September 9th at the Edward Petner Funeral Home at 6412 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, Pa 19135 at 10:00 AM. All those who knew and loved her are warmly invited to join us in commemorating the life of our beloved Nana Faye.

Rest in peace, dear Nana Faye, in the comforting embrace of the Lord. Your love and cherished memories will forever illuminate our hearts.
