Mary Jane (nee Kane), age 78, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children, at home on January 24, 2019. She was born on October 25, 1940 in Philadelphia to John and Esther Kane (nee Haviland).  She married Joseph McEntee on June 29 , 1962.  They enjoyed 47 beautiful years together. Mary's most enjoyable moments were spent caring for her grandchildren and spending time with her family and friends.  She especially enjoyed spending time at the Wildwood beach with both her immediate and extended families.  Mary also enjoyed spending time with her Granite Street friends.

She is survived by her Children:  Joseph, Greg (Maureen), Marianne Kleinbrahm (Jeff), and Esther McGoldrick (Tom); her Grandchildren:  Moira, Ryan, Stephen, Patrick, and Michael McEntee, Katie and Christopher Kleinbrahm, and Jake, Jenna, and Reagan McGoldrick; her Sisters Theresa Phillips and Dolores Mulgrew, and Brother Frank Kane(Marilyn). She is also survived by many loving sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces and nephews.

Mary Jane was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph McEntee, her parents,  John and Esther Kane, and her siblings Eugene (Reds), Sally, Robert, John, Daniel, Vincent, and Joseph.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday, February 1, 2019, at

Saint Cecilia Church, 535 Rhawn Street, Philadelphia, PA from 9:30 - 10:30 am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 am.  Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
