MARY ELLEN PIOTROWICZ

NOVEMBER 6, 1940 - APRIL 21,2023

Piotrowicz, Mary Ellen (nee Zalenski), age 82, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, died surrounded by her family on April 21, 2023 at Holy Redeemer Hospital. She had been a resident of St. Joseph Manor of Meadowbrook, PA since 2019.

Mary Ellen was born in Philadelphia on November 6, 1940 of thelate Chester Zalenski and Ella Donaghy. She was the oldest of five children. MaryEllen married
her husband, the late Frank .J Piotrowicz, Jr of the Philadelphia Police Department. Frank and MaryEllen raised four children, the late Frank .J Piotrowicz III, Mary
Rudolph (Fred) of Glenside, PA, and twins Kristie Adamo (Frank) of Gulph Mills, PA, and Karen Piotrowicz ofWayne, PA.

The sparkle of MaryEllen's eyes were her four grandchildren, Nicole Lynn Panetta and Owen, Ethan,and Rose Adamo. She enjoyed frequent outings with her family, watching Philadelphia sports teams, reading endlessly, shopping, and Fox News. MaryEllen is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Monday May 1, 2023 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Manor 1616 Huntingdon Pk. Meadowbrook PA, 19046. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM in the chapel of St,, Joseph Manor. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
