Obituary

MICHAEL P. LADAVICH

January 11, 1961 - March 20, 2021

Michael P. Ladavich of Philadelphia, PA was called upon God on March 20, 2021 to join him in Heaven. He had just turned 60 years young. Loving son of Joan Ladavich. Beloved brother to Richard, Steven and sister Linda.

Michael never had children of his own, with the exception of his fur baby, Phloyd (named after Pink Floyd). His crazy, hyper Jack Russell Terrier. He had manys nieces and nephews to which he loved, and was proud of as well as humored by their crazy stories. Loving Uncle to Krystal, Gabrielle, Kim, Tammy, Katrina, Alexandra, Richard and Sean.

Michaels passion in life was music. He was a classic rock lover to the bitter end. His Love for Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rush was immense just to mention a few. Some of his all time favorite guitarists were, Jimmy Page, Joe Satriani, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, the list goes on. Michael was an amazing guitarist. Whether it was his acoustic, electric or mandolin. Michael played with such passion as though music notes were flowing through his veins. You could see it in his eyes and facial expressions while he played.

Michaels other passion was fishing. He loved to fish whether it was fly fishing off the jeti, or in a stream on opening day of trout season. He enjoyed tying his own flies and took great pleasure with his creativity in doing so.

And how could we leave out his knowledge of computers. He was the man, the myth, the legend when it came to computer programming.

Finally in his early years, his friends nicknamed him Phatz or Bear. In the past 3 years he especially earned the name Bear. All that he endured, Michael fought like a Mighty Bear.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Gathering Friday evening March 26, 2021 6:00pm to 7:30pm at THE EDWARD J. PETNER FUNERAL HOME(family owned and operated), followed by his Memorial Service 7:30pm. Interment Private.
