PAULA RODRIGUEZ

JULY 12, 1938 - DECEMBER 5, 2024

Our beloved mother, Paula Rodriguez passed away peacefully in her home on December 5, 2024, at the age of 86.

Paula was born in Coamo, Puerto Rico on July 12, 1938. As a teenager, she moved from Coamo to Philadelphia, PA where she met her husband Ramon and raised their family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who was known for her kindness, cooking, and love of gardening. As the heart of our family, her house was the gathering place for holiday and birthday celebrations.

Paula leaves behind her children, Miriam Soriano, Rebecca Rodriguez, Angel Rodriguez, Lillian Rodriguez, Rene Rodriguez, and Ramon Rodriguez III. Paula also leaves behind three sisters (Esperanza, Carmen, & Naomi) and two brothers (Alberto & Francisco), 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.Paula was preceded in death by her husband Ramon Rodriguez, first-born son, Ramon Rodriguez II and great-granddaughters Summer Rodriguez and Tatianna Santiago.

In lieu of flowers or other gifts, the family asks that a donation be made to your charity of choice.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Gathering Saturday December 14, 2024 11:00am to 12:00pm  at the Edward J Petner Funeral Home Ltd.( family owned and operated).Christian Service 12:00pm . Interment will be held privately by family.
