RAMON G. RODRIGUEZ

AUGUST 31, 1936 - NOVEMBER 3, 2024

Our beloved father, Ramon Rodriguez passed away peacefully in his home on November 3, 2024, at the age of 88.

Ramon was born in Salinas, Puerto Rico on August 31, 1936. As a teenager, he moved from Salinas to Philadelphia, PA where he met his wife Paula and raised his family. He worked as a Trucking Supervisor for Mrs. Paul's for 30+ years until his retirement in 1996. He had a lifelong passion for baseball and was a devoted Phillie's fan. He made sure his kids and grandkids got to experience their first , Phillie's game with him.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Rodriguez and leaves behind his children Miriam Soriano, Rebecca Rodriguez, Angel Rodriguez, Lillian Rodriguez, Rene Rodriguez, and Ramon Rodriguez III, and his two sisters, Nilda Williams and Carmen Young. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first-born son, Ramon Rodriguez II , granddaughter Summer Rodriguez and great-granddaughter Tatianna Santiago.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ramon's Memorial Gathering Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 11am, at The Edward J Petner Funeral Home(family owned and operated)  6421 Frankford Ave PA 19135. Christian Service 12:00pm. All friends and family are welcome. The family asks that donations to your choice of charity be made instead of flowers or other gifts
