RICHARD T. ADDARIO
JULY 31, 1959 - APRIL 25, 2026
Richard Thomas Addario passed away surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a legacy of strength, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
He had a larger-than-life personality and a spirit that could light up any room. Richard loved motorcycles and rock music, often blasting his favorite songs and singing along with passion and joy. His favorite song, "Ripple" by the Grateful Dead, was one he especially cherished.
Richard found peace and happiness in nature, whether at the beach or in the mountains—places where he could relax, reflect, and enjoy life in his own way. He also enjoyed sharing good times, a drink, and laughter with those around him.
Richard was known for his welcoming nature, his love of a good argument—especially when he knew he was right—and his signature sayings, "cool beans" and "no doubt," which will forever echo in the memories of those who loved him. His strong opinions and spirited conversations were part of what made him so uniquely himself.
Above all, Richard's greatest joy in life was his family. He deeply loved spending time with his grandchildren, who brought him endless happiness and pride. He is survived by his loving children: Richard, Amy, Maggie (Daniel), and Michelle. He is reunited in rest with his son Jason, who is no longer with us. He also leaves behind his twelve cherished grandchildren: Daniel, Jason ("Big Guy"), Elliana ("My Fave"), Giovanni ("Minnow"), Julianna, Michael, Cecilia, Harry, Jaysianna, Anthony, Jaiden, and Isaiah. Rich is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Margaret (nee Ricchini) and loving brother of Robert(Ann), Margie (Vincent) Forte and the late Joseph and Martin.
Richard will be remembered for his big heart, his bold personality, and the deep love he had for his family. His presence will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on in the stories, laughter, music, and familiar phrases he leaves behind
"Let there be songs to fill the air."
