Obituary

Robert E. Wallace, 62 of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 7th, 2020. Robert went peacefully in his sleep at home. Robert was a Navy Veteran who loved traveling the world by sea. As a retired Sous Chef of the Philadelphia Art Museum, he had a passion for cooking, and could whip up any dish as long as "you fly, I'll buy". He loved his trips to Ocean City, NJ, where he could go to the arcade and play the pin ball machines, eat his favorite Johnson's Popcorn, salt water taffy's, and fudge. The smell of the ocean air, and walks along the beach in the presence of his family gave him a great sense of comfort and joy. He loved the outdoors and camping as he thought of himself as THE 'Survivorman' Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his best friend and neighbor, Edward, they were two peas in a pod. Bob could put a smile on your face from the first encounter. He loved his daughters Danielle and Nicole unconditionally. Robert was there for them through every trial and tribulation and they were his life! You could count on him for any and everything. He devoted his life to his late wife Karen, his daughters, and his grandchildren; Vivianna, Olivia, and Colton who will miss him dearly. He was a loving uncle to Josh, Michael, Loretta, Love, Sam, Myeesha, Elizabeth, and Diane. Robert was also the beloved brother of Anna Marie. Robert was a man of outstanding character who will be missed tremendously, more than words can ever say. He will always and forever be in our hearts. Rest in paradise until we see you again!

A MEMORIAL SERVICE IN ROBERT'S MEMORY WILL BE HELD AT A LATER DATE

Until We Meet Again
"Those special memories of you
will always bring a smile
if only I could have you back
for just a little while
Then we could sit and talk again
just like we use to do
you always meant so very much
and always will do too
The fact that you're no longer here
will always cause me pain
but you're forever in my heart
until we meet again."
For Poppy
My favorite relative and best friend.
I will always remember you picking me up from school, our trips to McDonald's and going for water ice. I will always remember the fun we had while you helped me with my homework and school projects. I will miss our play fights and sleepovers. I will miss saying I love you. I will miss you Poppy.
Rest Easy,
Vivianna
