THOMAS R. McCURDY

JULY 17, 1937 - AUGUST 27, 2024

Thomas R. McCurdy (born July 17, 1937) passed on August 27, 2024.

Preceded in death by his parents Beverly and Alma nee Wray, his son Daniel and granddaughter Samantha.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Virginia nee Weber and children, Thomas (Jane), Kathleen, and Michael. The proud grandfather of Megan, Casey, Kelly, Michael, Matthew and Brandon.  The doting great-grandfather to Abigail, Brandon, Olivia, Aiden and Aura.

He is also survived by his sisters, Patricia Pagliaro, Virginia Clark, Kathleen Kobie, Suzanne Pyne and many nieces and nephews.

Thomas served in the United States Army and also as a Philadelphia Police Officer for 32 years.

He always enjoyed the company of his family, watching the Phillies and going to the race track.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Gathering Friday September 6, 2024 10:00am to 11:30am at THE EDWARD J PETNER FUNERAL HOME (family owned and operated). Memorial Service 11:30am . Interment Private
