It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Virginia Broomhead, who left this world on May 8, 2026 at the age of 78.

Virginia "Ginny" Broomhead was a devoted, mother, loving grandmother and truly strong woman whose life centered around her family as a homemaker, and the mother of four she dedicated herself completely to caring for her children and making sure they felt love protected and supported .She worked tirelessly and sacrificed endlessly to provide the best life she could for her family.

Known for her strength, kindness, and unwavering love Virginia, Broomhead faced life's challenges with courage and grace.

Virginia "Ginny" Broomhead (nee Westfield) beloved wife of the late Philip Sr.. Devoted mother of Phillip Jr, Bridget Mccool and Ben and the late Shawn . She is survived by her brother Patrick Lodise, also survived by her grandchildren, Amanda, Colleen, Dawson, Wyatt, Bailey, Gianna, Isabella, Jake, Luke, Jade, Rachel and Tina and by her great grandchild MIA.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ginny's viewing Friday May 15, 2026 at Saint Timothy's Parish 3001 Levick St., Philadelphia PA 19149. Viewing will start at 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM , followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery.
