WALTER J. SLIWECKI

SEPTEMBER 13, 1924 - FEBRUARY 1, 2022

Walter John Sliwecki ,Walter was born in Philadelphia,  beloved husband of Florence Koscieniak. Walter is survived by his Daughter Marianne Wright; 3 Grandchildren Stacianne Harris (Kevin), Robert Wright (Sara), and Kevin Wright (Danielle); 6 Great Grandchildren Abigail Harris, Ethan Harris, Jeremy Wright, Alexander Harris, Max Harris, and Jason Wright; Niece Karen Dolbow (Joseph). He was p receded in death by his parents John and Cathryn; Brothers Edward, John, Andrew, and Francis; Sisters Laura, Anna, Jean, and Rita.

Walter was proud to serve his nation during WWII and his primary duty was training US Navy pilots. He served a ctive duty in the US Navy from 1944-1946 and a member of the reserves from 1946-1954. Walter was a devoted husband who enjoyed being in the company of his bride for 69 years. The two were inseparable and will undoubtedly be best friends forever.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tuesday February 8, 2022 9:00am to 10:30am at St. Timothy's Church 3001 Levick St. Phila PA., 19149. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery  Bensalem, PA.
